Staying home on a Saturday night in Helsinki

It's past midnight on a Saturday night in Finland.

Everyone else is out partying, and not just because it's our last night in Helsinki after the amazing Slush conference... Despite everything being insanely expensive, the Finns are out pretty much every night.

So why on earth am I home alone in this enormous house, instead of out enjoying my last night in this beautiful city? Because Arnie, that's why.

Sure, it's cheesy. But the guy has done some utterly mind boggling things, so I think it's worth paying attention to his six rules for success.

1. Trust Yourself

2. Break the Rules

3. Don't be Afraid to Fail

4. Ignore the Naysayers

5. Work Like Hell

6. Give Something Back

So tonight, instead of being out there celebrating new friendships and commiserating over the heartbreaking attacks in Paris overnight, I'm here washing my clothes and working on the biggest project of my life.

When you’re out there partying, horsing around, someone out there at the same time is working hard, someone is getting smarter and someone is winning. Just remember that
